Guesty and Kash carried on from last weeks throw downs and allowed Cov to get off to a flyer at 70/1 off 10. Haroon and TC came on and slowed the rate, TC finishing with excellent figures of 4/36 off 17. Powlesy came on after Haroon and bowled brilliantly taking 2/34 off 14. PSK dropped a sitter, Powlesy took an absolute blinder, Danny fielded with his belly as other highlights of the innings. 194 to chase on a very good wicket.
An outdoor tea under the canopy and before our response.
Shoaib and Niall opened up again but were unable to make a huge partnership like last week. Macca also came and went quickly, a bit like neat paintwork on his car. Powlesy joined Niall and finally batted as he can do with great intent but not getting out in the process. He eventually fell for 50 odd which led to TC cameo of 25 before PSK and Niall knocked the score off without further trouble. Niall finishing unbeaten on 79.
Another excellent win, hopefully the start of a good run of form.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat on a very green pitch we managed to get to a score near 150. Being bowled out for 147 with contributions by Harjivan Dhinsay (34) Ben Jones (21) and Elliott Rushton (19).
Started off well in the field, keeping it tight although wickets were hard to come by straight away. The lads stuck at it and built pressure which soon told when Andy Powell (5-31) was very close to getting a hat-trick with a double wicket maiden. Ryan Hughes came back into the attack to mop up the tail finishing with 4-16.
Great win for the team after a couple of defeats in a row. Hopefully build on that going into the last half of the season.
